race

my cousin loves bike racing..in fact, she's top of her game...here's something that got me drawin'

herbs and ale

It's beautiful when I can collaborate creatively with someone. There's inspiration in pairs..

these moments are few and as such to be treasured
a lack of language not from herbs and ale
this disruption is borne of a none to common theme
when the time has again come to live my dream

muse identification through accidental intervention
inspiration now the standard condition
a life now no longer fractured
I see me, myself, with my own eyes

remember then but live in now
give my all to figure this out some way, some how
rest in staid moments and move in between
I'd trade my eternity for just one moments peace

For life living is meant to be moment to moment
With each one labeled for your enjoyment
Every choice offers the chance to change
To reinvent and dream again

swiss

a little swiss sketches from my recent travels to Switzerland...i loved the cheese...i loved the cottages....and of course the scenery..

post it fun

post-it fun...always refreshing to take a few minutes to doodle about random things....like the water bottle on my desk..

basics

a quick draw...

basics is a number 2 pencil peeking from fragrant exotic flowers...freely scribbling....so imperfect..yet just right to me..

Melancholy Megaman

He sits, tired from his battles, wondering when it will be over....
But he knows there is a glimmer of hope ..and he will not stop until he is saved....
That is why he will prevail.
That is why he will persevere..

elefante

Mr. Elefante.

He frolicks in the waters of Elephant Trunk Hill located in the beautiful landscape of Guilin, China.

Which rises out of the water behind him.

Strong and erect.

While a curious observer watches keenly.

What is he going to do?

An amazing spectacle he ponders.

fishees

I drew this picture for my aunt in the hospital. I previously drew her a picture of flowers and now she wants more and more pieces of my artwork. I think it's amazing how visuals can affect the human brain. It was funny, when I gave her this picture...it made her think of sashimi...

rockin'

So I've been drawing figures w/o faces lately..often unfinished....perhaps less polished to some. I'm not sure why but there is a sense of anonymity attributed to unfinished humanistic figures. You almost wonder, who is this? Where's the expression on their face? To me, the best part is that it can be anyone and the spirit of their actions is communicated in the lines surrounding the face and not in the face itself.

scribblzzz

sometimes you just draw ...and doodle..and scribble...not knowing what to draw....it never really matters....the scribbles on the top of the butterfly wing were actual test scribbles of my nice new pens...they're great....

starfishies

i like starfish.

Ask my cousin..I even ate one during my visit to Beijing. There is something about them that's fascinating..from reminding me of Patrick from Sponge Bob to the feeling of the simple geometric shape covered with infinite texture.
