Bonjour whale



I had no clue what to draw tonight...so I just...well..drew something...embellished it with a swirl...and the swirl turned out to be a silly whale...but I like it :)

Burger BBQ!

Nice kickoff to the summer...a burger bbq with some great company and good food..LOTs of good food..and yummy strawberry mojitos....Happy Father's Day to all the beautiful, courageous father's out there...woot

Inspiration is just pouring out lately which is exciting...It was weird, I was stepping out of the shower, looking in the mirror with my towel and suddenly had a look on my face that was the title of the next poem. So I bottled up that look, the towel draping spectacle and threw it together on the next page of my fairy tale sketchbook story.

Thank you to the uni-ball, Sharpie permanent pen and highlighter...and of course...cherry stain.

KNOWING

The uncertainty twists like a scoliolitic spine
Living, breathing, steps in time
Add six more pieces to this degenerate shrine
Just two words and I know you’re mine
Heard too long with a forked tongue
Dreamed it all up from where I’ve come
Know now how the damage was done
Awakened from ashes, a phoenix, a rising sun
Stumbling rhetoric and nursery rhymes
Burning catatonia in a writhing mind
So long a sentence for such little a crime
Like all best lessons, learned in time
